Out of Syllabus is a Consumer Strategy think tank. We track the latest trends, uncover Consumer Insights. Our purpose is to build scenarios for the Future. We believe that insights should be about the future while making you understand the past.

We have developed our frameworks by customising leading psychologists, futurists, innovation experts thought leadership. For example, we use ‘The Diffusion of Innovation Curve’ framework to project and understand what can move Trends from Lead Users to Early adopters to Early Majority. We use 3 horizon scanning for Future of Sustainable products in India.

We dispel this via Reports, White-papers, Workshops and Mentoring Sessions.

  • Founder, Out of Syllabus

The Founder, Aditi Garg is a Consumer behaviour expert with over 17 years of experience in all types of research, Customer Centricity, Customer experience. She has worked on projects that cover customer insights, customer experience, and brand strategy. During her stints in the TATA Group, Dentsu Group and the Reliance Group, she has built her niche in gathering, collating and analysing attitudinal and behavioural data and deriving actionable insights for various entities. As a member of the Centre for Customer Insights, Tata Sons, she has led many large scale research studies, such as uncovering opportunities for the TATA group to target the Silvers segment and unlocking potential for the TATA group in developing premium products and services. She was successful through my content to create a compelling argument for the group to create solutions especially for the said target segment. In the Dentsu Group, as Head-Strategy, Carat media her mandate was to enable Customer centricity and design thinking in processes and thinking. She conducted sessions and trained the team to develop a Customer first orientation in place of guesswork and assumptions.

Her love for research and passion for uncovering deep and meaningful insights was honed by her stints in research agencies such as Quantum Consumer Solutions, IRIS Retail and 9dot9 Media. A social scientist, she holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from NUS, Singapore and an undergraduate degree in Economics (Hons) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
